Due 11/31/09 During my first lecture I talked about an important concept in mathematics, write a short paragraph about what that concept was and how we used it in that lesson.
In our first lecture we talked about a concept which included using the number zero to find a function. We used this concept to solve for X in any equation by creating number lines of each factor in the equation and finding the restrictions.
In the first lecture you talked about the important concept of using the number zero to find the answer to an equation. Using this concept we created number lines for each part of the equation and found the possible values for x.
in your 1st lecture u talked about the importance of the concept using 0 to get the awnswer. u also told us how using the concept to create number lines to seperate each part of the equation to get the correct possible choices
Mr. Clark, I put the assignment on my blog as well but it didn't work until this morning. The assignment 1 didn't show up until today although I did it before that.
hey mr.clark. this is tiffany feng. i am in your 2nd period class and i wasn't sure what we had to do so i answered blog on my page. http://period2precalculas.blogspot.com/
Samuel Ward: period 1, in order to shift a problem over to solve easier, get the bulk of the data over to the variable's side, leaving '0' on the other side. then solve by creating overlapping number lines in order to facilitate a easier means of portraying said point, or points of variance.
Brittany Njissang period3:in your first lecture you talked about how to solve for x when its a inequality fraction. All i have to do is get one side equaled to zero. To make it even easier you showed us how to get the results using overlapping number lines to map out what x could be.
On the first day of school, we talked about an important concept that explained how a bunch of mathmatitions got together and discovered that f(x) could equal 0.And we discussed how to use number lines to find X in F(x).
In our first class lecture, we talked about the important concept of using zero to solve the problem. We used this to solve for the variable, which is X, by creating a number line of each factor in each equation. That's all we learned that day
